MELBOURNE, 1 October, 2024: The Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV), Australia’s biggest motoring Club & Mutual organisation, which various services to members, including insurance and roadside assistance. In fact, the list of its services are much more.
This year the RACV and others have come on board to support the Melbourne Diwali to be held at the Marvel Stadium, major multi-purpose sporting, entertainment, corporate or casual events complex, on 26 October, 2024. The organisers claim it will be the ‘biggest undercover Diwali Celebration’ of 2024.
A cosy meet-greet get-together at the RACV City Club, Melbourne today saw supporters, sponsors and organisers setting the tone for Diwali, the festival of lights. Representatives of the sponsors including from the RACV expressed happiness at the upcoming event and its connection to the community with the planned cultural festival and business networking at the Marvel Stadium’s Victory Room.
As part of this exciting collaboration, RACV Melbourne Diwali 2024 will feature several enhancements, making this year’s festival the largest and most immersive celebration yet. Highlights include expanded floor space for greater enjoyment and engagement, more giveaways, additional exhibitors and a range of festive stalls to delight visitors of all ages.
Addressing those gathered, Anna Bhardwaj, CEO Melbourne Diwali said, ” This event is not just a launch—it is a collective commitment to bringing joy, cultural pride, and community connection to the heart of Melbourne.” And, announced major changes like expanding the Melbourne Diwali Business Expo, Melbourne Diwali Dollars, illuminated ‘Happy Diwali’ sign the at Harbour Esplanade, from October 23, Content Creators Lounge, and the CDS Vic Mel Diwali Dance Competition.
Others who were present and addressed the gathering included Sister Morni, Bhrama Kumaris, Meghan Powell, RACV, Megan Toose, CDS, Nick Reece, Lord Mayor Melbourne, and Gautam Gupta, Melbourne Diwali.
