CANBERRA, 17 October 2023 : The strong relations between Australia and India are likely to be boosted further with this years flagship top-level Australia India Leadership Dialogue taking place this year.
The Track 1.5 Dialogue launched here today at the Parliament House will be held on 23 November in Melbourne and will be co-chaired by Atlassian Global Head of Talent and HR Business Partners, Avani Prabhakar and Australia India Institute CEO, and former Australian Labor Senator, the Hon. Lisa Singh.
The Dialogue will bring together key government, business, and cultural figures as part of a collaboraon between the Australia India Institute (AII) and Australian-founded global sofware company Atlassian.
Some of the possible participants include Tim Watts, Australia’s Assistant Foreign Minister, Simon Birmingham, Shadow Foreign Minister, Chris Bowen, Australia’s Energy Minister, Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services of Tamil Nadu, Teijas Parmar, Suzlon and H.E. Manpreet Vohra Indian High Commissioner to Australia.
Lisa Singh, CEO AII said, “India and Australia have so much to share with each other. Bringing together these powerful voices at this event is the best chance for both nations to maximise their potential.”

During the one-day event, the pair will invite experts from a range of sectors as well as leaders in Australian and Indian government, academia and business to contribute to solutions to global challenges, says an AII media release.
