CANBERRA, 13 NOVEMBER 2023: A pro Palestine rally calling for ceasefire in Gaza was held today in front of the Parliament House by the Free Palestine Movement. Hundreds of participants gathered in the Parliament lawns waving Palestinian flags amid the display of bundles with white clots to represent children killed in Gaza. There were signs that said “Stop the genocide in Gaza. Ceasefire now,” reports news.com.au.
In a Tweet on X, Greens leader, Adam Bandt said, “The movement for peace is on the steps of Parliament. And they’re echoing the calls of millions and millions of people right around the world: Ceasefire now.”
