Art Suss, AIBC Vic Vice-President, CEO Linfox welcomed the guests followed by a formal address by Ravneet Pawha, AIBC Vic, President & CEO (South Asia), Deakin University. Others who spoke included The Hon Michael Sukkar, Minister of Housing, Labor Senator Kimberley Kitching, Raj Kumar Consul general of India in Victoria, Andrew Cumpston, Victoria Director of DFA, Maria Vamvakinou, Federal Labor MP and Vasan Srinivasan, AIBC Vic, Patron.
